This is the Nick/Kelly snippet I promised. You may consider this series canon.
It’s largely what I consider a first draft. Please excuse typos or mistakes, the editing process has been sacrificed for speed.
Please reference this post for an explanation of this snippet. Whether this will make it into a book I don’t know. But I am fulfilling my obligation and I am ashamed.
I know, I know. I promised more than this and I am sorry. But I actually do have a good excuse this time lol: Rachel and I have been working the whole day on…something..that may or may not be posted one day (I learned my lesson about making promises). So yeah, just one little, short drabble today. I still intend to write one about every sentence I get. Just FYI ;)

Zane came awake to the sound of machines, the smell of a hospital. It was a familiar experience—but what had he done now? The last time he’d been in a hospital had been in Texas, waiting for Ty to recover. As usual.
He tried to remember. There had been a tiger. No—they’d made it home, Smith and Wesson were gone. He remembered that. He remembered Ty restless and sleepless, missing the furry orange weight of the beasts. He remembered kissing him to sleep, remembered—
He didn’t remember anything after that. Why was he in the hospital?
He blinked and the world swam, then slowly came into focus.
I was going to wait to post this until after I finished my part on RtC but after this post, I just can’t wait any longer.

Jealous Ty!! Who doesn’t love jealous Ty? :DLol, Zane is always getting hit on by waiters. Of course, who can really blame them?
“Zane would be such an asshole if he took advantage of this. Zane would be such an asshole if he took advantage of this.” So what does Zane do? Try to take advantage of it! LOL.Favorite line:
“And what’s your type, Garrett?” Ty deadpanned. “Oh, you know, ten pounds of crazy in a five pound bag.”
So good! I didn’t want it to end…mainly because I want to see that angry sex and Ty showing Zane who he belongs to!
Oh and I loved how it almost seemed like it could go along with Sonja’s Gardy Case story. Seemed like Clancy maybe knew a little bit more about what was going on that the other guys did. :)
